Text-to-Speech Voice Guidance at the ATM

Evertec Uses Solutions from Paragon Application Systems to Implement Voice Guidance at ATMs

Voice Guidance at the ATM

Voice guidance at the ATM is a requirement of the Americans with Disabilities Act. With voice guidance, visually impaired customers are audibly guided through their ATM transaction. Upgrade your ATM configuration files to include voice guidance using Paragon ATMulator Plus and professional services.

Paragon Professional Services are available to:

  • Add text-to-speech or pre-recorded .WAV files to your ATM configuration files using ATMulator Plus.
  • Create an Audio Guidance XML file containing text in any language plus keypad feedback while the customer is pressing selection keys.
  • Develop a configuration load file for your host system (BASE24 etc.) and download it for testing.
  • Verify that each screen has the correct text-to-speech or pre-recorded voice for the language selection.
  • Confirm that the transaction flow is correct.
  • Train your staff on text-to-speech or other voice guidance options.

Paragon has broad experience with voice guidance implementation at banks, credit unions and processors in the US and Latin America using text-to-speech, pre-recorded .WAV files or XML.
